Apparently, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has been around for years. What do we think? Have we heard anything about this recently?
A buddy of mine just sent me a link from a gadget site, and I had never heard of it.
We certainly haven’t !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
After looking at it for three whole minutes, it appears they have taken the GEM electric cart, removed a wheel, two seats, and started taking deposits.
The price is the same as the GEM at just under $12,000.
With a range of about 1oo miles, open-air tandem seating for two, and a top speed of 85mph, It sounds like another
Elio
recipe for disaster
three-wheeled answer to a question no one was asking.
Who will deliver their vehicle first? Elio, or Arcimoto?
They just reached 500 reservations the other day, BTW..

Probably Arcimoto, since they aren’t committed to an unrealistic price point or mileage target, don’t have a gigantic assembly plant to pay for and retool, and basically just built a 3 wheeled version of the 4 wheeled glorified golf carts that are already clogging the streets of central Florida as we speak.

My vote goes to the Elio as it will have wider appeal due to having a fully enclosed cabin.
If I was fabulously wealthy, I would buy one of each since I would expect them to be a rare sight in the future.
And that’s mainly because I expect both of these companies will go under after a few years.

The Arcimoto can come with “door”

“Door”... lol... I’m still picking the Elio...

I’ve actually sat in the Elio, so I’ll say that one....I say “The Elio” because I’m not 100% certain that more than two exist. I’m pretty sure that orange one is 1/2 of their total production so far. Still though, I like it better.

It’s like an Elio, but you die in the crash every time.

And the first run of the Viper had a roof and windows.

If I were fabulously wealthy I would make my servants drive them - just to piss them off.

Don’t have those same servants cook for you... LOL
